===============
This is the 7.9 Product Release. It has been put through a full system test 
and is suitable for deployment to end-users. 

DisplayLink Software Release 7.9 delivers 
the following features:

This release is for Windows 7 and later. Windows XP SP2 and Vista are supported
by earlier versions of the DisplayLink software:

A1. Important notes about DL-3xx0, DL-41xx and DL-5xx0 Firmware
======================================================
This software release contains an embedded firmware image. 
DL-3xxx/DL-41xx/DL-5xxx devices will be automatically upgraded with this
firmware upon connection.

- DisplayLink User Interface opens the incorrect display settings window 
  when selecting 'Video Setup'. (19974)
  
- Miracast fails to operate when DisplayLink software is installed. (19759)

- Poor network performance when the DisplayLink network interface is connected
  to some Huawei LTE routers. (19858)

Issues fixed in 7.9 Beta 2 release (7.9.242.0)

- When the DisplayLink monitor is in portrait mode, it can shows corruption 
  after USB cable re-plug. (19860)

- Increased CPU usage when DisplayLink software is installed. (19880)

- When newer version of DisplayLink software is available
  on Windows Update, the previous version of the DisplayLink software fails 
  to uninstall during a Windows 10 upgrade. (19922)

Issues fixed in 7.9 Beta 1 release (7.9.95.0)

- DisplayLink monitors can stop working with the latest graphic

I. Known Issues and Limitations
===============================
System behaviour with DisplayLink attached screens has been well tested.
Testing covers plug/unplug, mode changes, playing video, hibernate,
sleep/standby, multiple users, different user rights, attached screen as
primary screen, attached screen as only screen, and other aspects.
